CLCON/220/2025 Hon’ble Manoj Kumar Tiwari, J. Mr. Karmanya Pandey, Advocate for the petitioner. Mr. Vikas Bahuguna, Advocate for the respondents.
2. This contempt petition is filed alleging disobedience of the order dated 08.01.2025, passed by Division Bench of this Court in WPCRL No. 16 of 2025. Said order is extracted below:
“Parties shall not break the law & order. Parties shall maintain cordial atmosphere. The local police shall pay a visit to the house once day. No third party shall be inducted into the property.”
3. It is contended by learned counsel for the petitioner that respondents have violated the order, as they have failed to maintain cordial atmosphere and they have also taken law in their own hands by issuing life threats to petitioner.
4. This Court do not find any good ground to initiate contempt proceedings. However, having regard to the order passed by the Division Bench, contempt petition is disposed of by permitting the petitioner to approach the police authorities, if they have any grievance regarding conduct of respondents. If petitioner files a complaint in this regard, the same shall be dealt with as per law by the police authorities.
