Heard arguments of learned counsel for petitioner and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home for respondents. 2. Learned counsel for petitioner submits that the petitioner is aggrieved by the inaction on part of the respondents/ police in not completing the investigation in Cr.No.546 of 2021 dated 26.10.2021, registered for the alleged offences under sections 304(A) of the IPC. 3. Learned Assistant Government Pleader on instructions submits that the police have completed the investigation and submitted the charge sheet before the concerned court i.e., XII Additional Metropolitan Magistrate Court, Gannavaram. Learned Assistant Government Pleader submits that initially, FIR was registered at Gannavaram Police Station and after bifurcation of districts, the same was transferred to Patamata Police Station for investigation. It is submitted that the learned Magistrate is not accepting the charge sheet on the ground of jurisdiction as to how the case registered in Gannavaram Police Station could be investigated by Patamata Police Station. 4. Considering the submissions of the learned Assistant Government Pleader that the investigation was entrusted to Patamata Police Station on ground of bifurcation of districts and the jurisdictional police station is happened to be Patamata Police Station, the Investigating Officer should re- submit the charge sheet to the jurisdictional Magistrate i.e., learned XII Additional Metropolitan Magistrate Court, Gannavaram and on such re- submission, the same should be taken cognizance, if the charge sheet filed by the police is otherwise in order. 5. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
