This is a writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India wherein the writ petitioner is seeking a direction upon respondent No.1/Special Secretary, Geology and Mining, U.P. to expedite the hearing of Revision No.119(R)/SM of 2021 filed under Rule 78 of the U.P. Minor Mineral (Concession) Rules 1963 (District Jalaun) within a time framed by this Court. 3. Upon a perusal of the record, it appears that the hearing of the aforesaid revision has been delayed inordinately and the progress has been tardy. Accordingly, the respondent No.1/Special Secretary, Geology and Mining, U.P. is directed to expedite the hearing of the aforesaid revision and decide the same expeditiously, preferably within a period of four months from the date of production of a certified copy of this order. 4. It is made clear that the court concerned will not grant any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties and if it is granted, the court concerned should impose costs for the same. 5.
