The present writ petition has been filed with a prayer to quash the impugned recovery order pursuance to which an amount is being deducted from the pension of petitioners since the date of commencement of their pensions towards the alleged excess payment after their retirement from service and a further prayer to direct the respondent authorities to refund the amount deducted from the pension of the petitioners towards excess payment. At the very outset, learned Standing Counsel points out that earlier a petition bearing Writ-A No.3377 of 2025 (Sudarshan Singh and 7 Others vs. State of U.P. and others) was filed, which was disposed of by order dated 19.03.2025 with a direction to the concerned respondent to provide details of deduction and the number of years, if any, so that petitioners may have complete information about deduction from their pension and period thereof. The present petition has been filed requesting for the same relief. Even otherwise, the petitioners, who are 8 in number, have not given their individual details. On the aforesaid objection, learned counsel for the petitioners prays to withdraw the petition with liberty to file afresh separate petitions. Accordingly, this petition is dismissed as withdrawn with the aforesaid liberty.
