Ajay Mohan Goel, Judge (Oral) Learned Senior Counsel appearing for the petitioner prays that in light of the functioning of the State Appellate Transport Tribunal, the petitioner be allowed to withdraw this petition, with liberty to approach the Tribunal but with an observation that when the petitioner approaches said Authority, the grievance of the petitioner shall be redressed expeditiously. 2. The petition is accordingly allowed to be withdrawn, with liberty as prayed for. This Court hopes and expects that in the event of the petitioner approaching the State Appellate Transport Tribunal, an endeavour shall be made by the Tribunal to adjudicate the issue as expeditiously as possible, in accordance with law. 1 Whether reporters of the local papers may be allowed to see the judgment? 2 3. It is clarified that in case the proceedings filed by the petitioner are time barred, then the time spent by the petitioner while pursuing this writ petition before this Court shall be excluded by the Authority below while computing the limitation and any application filed for condonation of delay shall be considered sympathetically.
