Learned counsel Mr. Kawsik Nath is present for the appellant-applicant. Heard Learned counsel Mr. Kawsik Nath for the applicant. Learned P.P. Mr. Raju Datta along with Mr. Rajib Saha, Learned Addl. P.P. is present for the State. As per the judgment and order dated 27.01.2025 passed by this High Court in connection with Crl.A. No.9 of 2024, the appellant-convict was supposed to pay the fine within a period of fifteen days. But within the stipulated period the appellant-convict could not deposit the amount as ordered before the Learned court below. So Learned counsel sought more seven days time to enable the appellant-convict to deposit the fine money. It is also submitted that the appellant-convict is a poor person and he could not collect the amount and as such he could not deposit the amount before the Learned court below within the prescribed period. So, considering the facts and circumstances of the case the prayer of the appellant-convict is hereby allowed. The convict-appellant is allowed to deposit the amount to the Learned court below within a period of seven days from today.
A copy of this order be supplied to Learned counsel for the appellant-applicant in the course of the day. Also a copy of this order be transmitted to the Learned court below for information and necessary action. Thus, the IA stands disposed of.
