GUNESHWAR SHARMA Order 20.08.2025 [1] Heard Mr. Ajoy Pebam, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. S. Niranjan, learned G.A. for the State respondent. [2] By the present petition, the petitioner approached this Court for providing adequate security/escort to him in pursuance of the representation dated 29.12.2022. It is stated that the petitioner asked to provide him adequate security in pursuance to the various threats to him. [3] It is also orally submitted that recently also there have been many incidents of firing at the residence of the petitioner and this Court may pass appropriate order to the State to provide adequate security to the petitioner. [4] Mr. S. Niranjan, learned G.A., submits that the petitioner may bring on record the fresh instance after filing of the writ petition and the State Government may be given liberty to decide the pending as well as fresh representation and the writ petition may be disposed of. [5] Mr. Ajoy Pebam, learned counsel for the petitioner, is also agreeable to the submissions made by the learned G.A. [6] Recording the submissions made at the bar, writ petition is disposed of by giving liberty to the petitioner to bring on record the subsequent instance which may require adequate security and the same may be filed within one week and on receipt of the fresh representation, the respondent, especially respondent No. 2, is directed to consider the pending and new representation and pass appropriate order within a period of one month from the date of submission of the fresh representation.
