The present Application under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, has been filed with the prayer to quash the charge-sheet dated 25.04.2017, summoning order dated 12.06.2017 and the entire proceedings of Criminal Case No. 2711 of 2017, State vs. Abhishek Singh and others, passed by the learned IVth Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Dehradun and, under Sections 498-A, 323 and 506 IPC, pending before the Court of learned IVth Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Dehradun. The applicant no.1 is the husband of respondent no.2 and the applicant nos. 2 & 3 are the father and mother of the applicant no.1. 5. The Counsel for the parties have made statement before the Court that applicant no.1 and respondent no.2 have entered into a compromise and decided the dissolve their marriage; they have filed an application under Section 13A of the Hindi Marriage Act; that the marriage 2025:UHC:8187 between the applicant no.1 & respondent no. 2 was dissolved vide order dated07.09.2020 and copy of the order dated 07.09.2020, passed by learned Principal Judge, Family Court, Dehradun, in Original Suit No. 1013 of 2019, Abhishek Singh vs. Smt. Jyoti Kanojia, has been enclosed with the supplementary affidavit. 6. The counsel for the parties, as such, submit that in view of the compromise arrived at between the parties, present C- 482 Petition may be disposed of. 7. In view of the statements made by learned counsel for the parties, the charge-sheet dated 25.04.2017, Summoning Order dated 12.06.2017 and the entire proceedings of Criminal Case No. 2711 of 2017, State vs. Abhishek Singh and others, passed by the learned IVth Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Dehradun and, under Sections 498-A, 323 and 506 IPC, pending in the Court of Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Dehradun, are hereby quashed.
