Upon coming of this matter for further consideration today, in continuation to order dated 12.02.2025, the counsel for the respondent- university produced a copy of communication bearing No. F(CC- AC)DR/KU/25 dated 24.02.2025, the contents whereof, being relevant and germane to the controversy involved in the instant petition are being extracted in extenso and reproduced hereunder:
“With reference to the subject cited above and pursuant to the meeting held on Feb, 21, 2025, the committee constituted for the above purpose has thoroughly reexamined the case concerning the issuance of academic clearance of Ms. Gulafroz Khan, Ph.D. scholar, Department of Law. Although, lapses were found in the processing of the case since inception, however, considering the time invested by the sald scholar the committee taking a lenient view resolve to issue the academic clearance to her Accordingly, I have been directed to inform you that the academic clearance of Ms. Gulafroz Khan, Ph.D scholar, Department of Law will be issued within one week.”
Having regard to the aforesaid contents of the letter (supra), seemingly the grievance projected by the petitioner in the instant petition stands redressed which is as well admitted by the counsel for the petitioner. Thus, for the aforesaid reasons, the instant petition stands disposed of.
