The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Rail (Ranchi) P.S. Case No. 25 of 2024(N), corresponding to N.D.P.S. Case No.120 of 2024, for the offences registered under Sections 20(b)(ii), (B) of the N.D.P.S. Act, pending in the Court of learned Additional Judicial Commissioner-XVII, Ranchi. It was submitted that 13.50 Kgs. of cannabis were recovered from the possession of the petitioner. It was further submitted that quantum of seized cannabis comes within the purview of intermediary quantity and petitioner has got no criminal antecedent and this fact has been mentioned at paragraph-12 of this Bail Application. In view of the submission made above, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Additional Judicial Commissioner-XVII, Ranchi, in connection with Rail (Ranchi) P.S.
