Since there was no sufficient progress in the investigation to trace him, the present Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed. 2. Today, when the matter was called, the learned Public Prosecutor, Puducherry, produced a copy of the closure report dated 18.06.2024, stating that the petitioner's grandfather was not traceable. 3. As such, no effective orders could be passed to the prayer sought for in the present petition. Accordingly, this Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed with liberty to the petitioner to workout his remedy in accordance with law.
