Heard the parties.
The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Sitaramdera P.S. Case No. 09 of 2024, corresponding to G.R. Case No.513 of 2024, S.T. Case No.358 of 2024, for the offence registered under Sections 302 & 307/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act, pending in the court of Sri Kankan Pattadar, learned Additional Sessions Judge-VIII, Jamshedpur.
On 01.02.2024 at about 5:30 p.m, three unknown persons fired on the informant and his associates, due to which, his friend Taklu Lohar sustained injury on his head and succumbed to it. The informant also sustained injury on his right elbow.
It was submitted that F.I.R. has been registered against unknown person. It was further submitted that though the petitioner was put on T.I. Parade, he was not identified by any witnesses. It was finally submitted that co-accused persons Raghunath Manna @ Raghu and Saurabh Singh @ Sourav Singh @ Tode have been granted bail by this Court in B.A. Nos. 5937/2024 & 9599/2024, and similarly situated other co-accused person has also been granted bail by the Coordinate Bench of this Court.
In view of the submission made above, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of Sri Kankan Pattadar, learned Additional Sessions Judge-VIII, Jamshedpur, in connection with Sitaramdera P.S. Case No. 09 of 2024, corresponding to G.R. Case No.513 of 2024, S.T. Case No.358 of 2024.
