This writ petition has been preferred against the judgment and order dated 30.04.2024 passed by Commissioner, Saharanpur Division, Saharanpur in Appeal No.313 of 2024 and order dated 16.2.2024 passed by District Magistrate, Shamli in Case No.1010 of 2023, under Section 3/4 of of U.P. Control of Goondas Act, 1970. 2. The main order has been passed under Section 3/4 of UP Control of Goondas Act, which is effective only for six months. The period of externment got over on 15.08.2024, hence, with efflux of time the matter has become infructuous. 3. Accordingly, the instant writ petition is dismissed as having become infructuous.
