Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Standing Counsel. 2. Petitioners before this Court were applicants against the advertisement issued for the post of Constable, 2023 seek writ of mandamus to command the respondent to hold physical standard test. 3. On the contrary, learned Standing Counsel submits that the physical standard test had already been duly held after due communication to the candidates and now when the final results have been published in respect of U.P. Police Recruitment, 2023 on 13.03.2025 no further relief can be granted. 4. Having heard learned counsel for respective parties and having perused the records, I find that the petitioners want direction for physical standard test whereas in matters of police recruitment, 2023 final results have come to be published and now the appoint process in respect of the selected candidates is already underway. 5. In view of the above, I decline to grant indulgence in the matter. 6. Petition fails and is accordingly dismissed.
