Mr. Sandeep Singh, AAG, Punjab. *** SANDEEP MOUDGIL, J.(Oral) This petition has been filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India praying with the prayer to direct respondent no. 2 and 3 to grant the protection of life and liberty of the petitioners and also protect the petitioners, property which is of the constitutional right and envisages under Article 300-A of Constitution of India from the hand of the respondents no. 4 to 5, who openly giving threats to the petitioners to face dire consequences, and to transfer the fifty percent share on their name, especially when both are disowned by the petitioners. Learned State Counsel has submitted that a speaking order has already been passed in the complaint dated 18.05.2025 (Annexure P-1) by Anuradha 2025.06.18 22:58 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document CRWP-5892-2025 (O&M) 2 the authorities concerned and has produced the copy of the same, which is taken on record. He has furnished a copy of the order to counsel for the petitioners. The relevant part of the speaking order is reproduced below :- ‘Preventive action has already been taken and the matter is of civil nature involving property dispute and right of residence, no further criminal action is warranted by the local police at this stage. Hence, it is respectfully recommended that the above-numbered application be filed.’ In light of the above, counsel for the petitioners does not wish to press this petition further.
