Upon coming of this matter for consideration, both the petitioners came to be examined by the Court and asked multiple questions regarding the Nikah Ceremony/Marriagethey claim to have performed. However, both the petitioners gave contradictory versions about the Nikah Ceremony, while both the petitioners claimed to have performed Nikahin person (Asaaltan), yet the Nikahnama on record reveals that the Nikah has been performed through a Vakeel (Vakalatan). 2. Both the petitioners even did not reveal the correct name of their respective Vakeels who had represented them during the Nikah ceremony. 3. Since contradictory statements were given by both the petitioners regarding the Nikah/Marriage, this Court is not inclined to display indulgence. 4. The petition, accordingly is dismissed.
