SRI ANANDA SEN, J. ------ For the Petitioner(s) : Mr. Ranjan Kr. Singh, Advocate. For the State: Ms. Anuradha Sahay, A.P.P …..... 04/03.07.2025: This anticipatory bail application under Section(s) 482 and 484 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), 2023, has been preferred by the petitioner apprehending his arrest for offences registered under Section(s) 188, 385, 387/34 IPC in connection with Telulmari P.S. Case No. 08/2024, pending in the Court of learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Dhanbad. Heard the parties at length and had gone through the documents, annexed along with this application. Opportunity was given to the State to oppose the bail, which the State availed and opposed. There is allegation against the petitioner that he has obstructed the Project Manager of the Company Mr. Rahul Raj from construction as the rangdari was not paid. It is further alleged that one Sonu Singh, the associate of the petitioner, demanded rupees ten lakh as rangdari and a threatening was given that if rangdari is not paid, the consequence will be bad. Considering the aforesaid facts, this is not a fit case to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this application filed for grant of anticipatory bail of the petitioner, above named, is dismissed.
