JUDGMENT AND ORDER (ORAL)
1. This is an application for calling of the records of the selection process for the post of Sub Divisional Officer/ Assistant Engineer (Civil) which was advertised in the year 2004 and 2005.
2. Mr. A.S.Siddiqui, learned Sr. counsel assisted by Ms. A, Kharmyndai,
learned counsel on behalf of the petitioner submits that the records of the selection process is necessary, inasmuch as, initially the MPSC was requested to recommend 4(four) candidates against 4(four) vacancies, which was later revised to 13(thirteen) and at the time of the declaration of results, the number of vacancies available was 19(nineteen). 2025:MLHC:327

3. Mr. N.D.Chullai, learned AAG assisted by Ms. Z.E.Nongkynrih, learned GA for the respondents No. 1-3, in reply has refuted the prayer and submits that the records of the selection process being in the custody of the MPSC and they not being a party, this misc. application is incompetent.
4. This Court has given its due consideration to the application and though not granting the prayer made in the misc. case, however directs the respondents to produce the records of the appointment of all the 19(nineteen) incumbents at the time of hearing.
5. Misc. case stands closed and disposed of.
