IN THE HIGH COURT OF PUNJAB AND HARYANA AT CHANDIGARH 212 FAO-4485-2006 (O&M) Date of Decision: 06.08.2025 Anita Devi and others ....Appellants Versus Ashok Kumar and others ....Respondents CORAM: HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE VIKAS SURI
---- Present: None.
**** VIKAS SURI, J. (Oral)
1. This appeal pertains to the year 2006 and has been reconstructed from the salvaged record from the fire incident that had taken place in the High Court.
2. On the last two consecutive hearings, no one had put in appearance on behalf of the appellants.
3. Today also, there is no representation on behalf of the appellants. It seems that the appellants are no more interested in pursuing the matter. Hence, this Court is left with no other option but to infer that the appellants are not interested to pursue the matter.
4. Accordingly, the present petition is dismissed for want of prosecution. However, liberty is reserved with the appellants to seek restoration, in case any dispute still survives.
5. Pending applications, if any, also stand disposed of.
