This application u/s 528 BNSS has been filed for setting aside the Non Bailable Warrant Order dated 15.03.2024 passed by the Additional District & Session Judge, Special Judge, Special Court No. 2 (Prevention of Corruption Act), Meerut in Session Trial No. 541 of 2019 (State of U.P. v. Rahil & others) arising out of Case Crime No. 250 of 2017, under Sections 395, 398, 342, 411, 420 IPC, Police Station- Rohta, District- Meerut, pending in the Court of Additional District & Session Judge, Special Judge, Special Court No. 2 (Prevention of Corruption Act), Meerut. 3. After arguing at some length, learned counsel for the applicant submits that the prayer as made above is not being pressed and that earlier the applicant was on bail in this case but on 15.03.2024 he could not appear before the court concerned due to some unavoidable reasons and non-bailable warrant has been issued against him. It was submitted that the applicant would appear before the court concerned and a direction may be made to the court concerned to decide the bail application of applicant expeditiously in accordance with law and till then, protection may granted to him. 4. In view of the aforesaid, it is directed that in case, applicant surrenders before the court concerned within a period of two weeks from today and applies for bail, his bail application shall be considered and decided expeditiously in accordance with settled law. 5.
