Heard learned counsel for the petitioner/ wife and learned counsel for the opposite party/ husband. 2. The present transfer petition has been filed under Section 24 of the Civil Procedure Code for transfer of Original Suit No.74 of 2024 from the Court of Principal Judge, Family Court, Dhanbad, to the Court of Principal Judge, Family Court, Ranchi. 3. The point has been taken by the learned counsel for the petitioner/ wife that the wife has given birth to a male child on 02.12.2023. She is working as a Research Scholar in Rajendra Institute of Medical Science (RIMS), Ranchi while the husband/ opposite party is an Assistant Professor in Phulojhano Medical College and Hospital, Dumka. It has further been submitted that just for the purpose of harassment, the present case has been filed at Dhanbad and as such prayer has been made to transfer the aforesaid suit to the Court of Principal Judge, Family Court, Ranchi. 4. Learned counsel for the O.P./ husband has submitted that the opposite party has to take care of his ailing mother - 1 - Tr. Petition No.15 of 2024 as well as his brother, who has suffered kidney transplantation. 5. Having heard learned counsels for the parties and from perusal of record, it appears that the wife is having a child aged about one year. Considering the above fact, the Original Suit No.74 of 2024, is hereby, transferred to the Court of Principal Judge, Family Court, Ranchi. 6. The present transfer petition, stands disposed of.
