Heard learned counsel for the petitioner,, Shri Munna Kuamr Singh, learned counsel for resondent and learned Standing Counsel for the State. 2. Petitioner by means of present writ petition has prayed for the following relief: "Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing the respondent no. 3 to reissue/renew the passport of petitioner bearing No. LK2078071317623, which is pending since 13.06.2023." 3. Petitioner has applied for renewal of passport. According to the petitioner, the respondent no.3-Regional Passport Officer, Regional Passport Office, Lucknow has neither issued the passport nor has passed any order for grant of issuance of passport. 4. Since, the decision in respect of issuance of the passport is to be taken by respondent no.3, accordingly, petitioner is permitted to file a representation before respondent no.3-Regional Passport Officer, Lucknow within a period of three weeks from today. On filing the said representation, respondent no.3 shall consider and decide the application for renewal of passport to the petitioner in the light of the judgment in Writ-C No.41540 of 2023, Pawan Kumar Rajbhar Vs. Union of India & others, within a period one month from the date, the representation of the petitioner is received by respondent no.3.
