JUSTICE M.NAGAPRASANNA) 1. The petitioner is before this Court seeking the following prayer: A. Issue a writ in the nature of mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to immediately hold election of the office bearers of 2nd respondent society, in view of declaration of election results vide Annexure-B dated 13.10.2025, in the ends of justice and equity. B. Issue any other writ, order or direction as this Hon’ble Court may deem fit to grant in the facts and circumstances of the case, in the interest of justice and equity. 2. Heard the learned counsel Sri.Srinivas B.Naik for the petitioner, learned counsel Sri.G.V.Baramagoundar for respondent No.1 and the learned AGA Sri.Ramesh Chigari appearing for respondent Nos.3 & 4. 3. The grievance of the petitioner is that calendar of events were deferred by the Returning Officer. 4. The learned counsel appearing for the respondent No.1/Returning Officer, Sri.G.V.Bharamagoudar and the learned AGA appearing for respondent Nos.3 and 4 submit that the elections are directed to be held on 16.11.2025. - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC-D:15294 WP No. 108114 of 2025 5. The learned counsel appearing for the Returning Officer and the learned AGA would submit that in accordance with law, the elections would be held on the 16.11.2025. 6. It is made clear that the Returning Officer and the AGA shall hold the elections strictly in consonance with law, after following all the nuances of conduct of elections in accordance with law. 7. With the aforesaid observation and according to the undertaking of the respondents that the elections would be held on 16.11.2025 in accordance with law, the petition stands disposed. 8.
