Heard learned counsel for the applicants and learned counsel for respondent no. 2 and learned AGA. 2. By means of instant application u/s 528 BNSS, the applicants have prayed for quashing the entire proceedings of Case No. 2558 of 2020 arising out of Case Crime no. 153 of 2020, under Sections 147, 323, 504, 506, 452, 325 IPC, P.S. Kasya, District Kushinagar, in pursuance of compromise dated 30.4.2025 pending before the court of Judicial Magistrate, Kasya, Kushinagar. 3. Learned counsel for the applicants submitted that the parties have entered into compromise; they have settled their dispute amicably and they are no longer inclined to proceed with the said case; therefore, on prayer made on behalf of the applicants, this Court was pleased to refer the compromise for verification vide order dated 11.6.2025. The compromise has been duly verified by the trial court on 8.7.2025 and a copy of order together with compromise has been placed on record. 4. No objection raised by learned counsel for respondent no. 2 on prayer made on behalf of the applicants. 5. In view of the fact that the parties have entered into compromise, which has been duly verified, the criminal proceedings are liable to be quashed. 6. The application is allowed.
