SANISETTY VENKATESWARLU SC For APSRTC The Court made the following Order: Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel for the respondents. 2. This writ petition is filed questioning the proceedings of the 3rd respondent dated 18.11.2014 and the consequential order dated 26.11.2014 withholding a sum of Rs.1,00,000/- for the settlement salary/ earned leave encashment of the petitioner as confirmed by the 2nd respondent in his proceedings dated 19.03.2016. 2 3. On the other hand, the learned Standing Counsel for the respondents submits that the subject amount of Rs.1,00,000/- was already paid to the petitioner on 03.03.2017 by way of issuing the cheque and the same is not disputed by the learned counsel for the petitioner. 4. In view of the same, nothing survives in this writ petition. However, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner may be given interest amount over the said amount of Rs.1,00,000/-. For which the petitioner can seek appropriate remedy as per law if he is so advised. 5. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. Interim order, if any, deemed to have been vacated.
