---------- 03/ 25.06.2025 Instant writ application has been preferred by the petitioner for quashing and setting aside the order dated 20.07.2019 (Annexure-2), whereby the petitioner has been terminated from the post of Assistant Teacher working at Eklavya Model Residential School (EMRS), Salgadih, Tamar, Ranchi on the ground that the Institute is doing away with the teachers of Arts and Commerce and there shall be no requirement of service from 22.07.2019.
2.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the impugned order is illegal and arbitrary. Learned counsel also tries to draw the attention of this Court to RTI Application filed by the petitioner.

3. However, the fact remains that the impugned order was issued on 20.07.2019 and the writ application has been preferred on 18.02.2025. This itself goes to show that the petitioner is not very much interested. Even otherwise, after perusing the impugned order it appears that the School wants to focus completely on the Science stream, hence, the Arts and Commerce streams was shut down from the Academic Session 2019.
4. For brevity the relevant portion of the impugned order dated 20.07.2019 is quoted hereinbelow:
“The Government has clearly instructed the Eklavya Model Residential School, Salgadih, Tamar to focus completely on the Science stream hence the Arts & Commerce streams shall be shut down from the Academic Session 2019. Therefore, we are doing away with teachers for Arts (Economics) & Commerce (Economics). Hence, we shall not be requiring your service from 22nd July, 2019. Please note your account shall be credited with 3 months’ salary. You are requested to fill the exit form and do the needful. The School shall be furnishing the final details of the Teachers and a report of the above shall be submitted to the government next month.”
5. I don’t find any error in this letter which has sought to be challenged; more so after a gap of almost six years.
6. Accordingly, the instant writ application stands dismissed.
