Jyotsna Rewal Dua , J The petitioner has retired as an Assistant House Keeper from the respondent-Corporation on 31.05.2022. The amount of gratuity and leave encashment payable to the petitioner is reflected in the gratuity sanction order and leave encashment sanction order, dated 06.07.2022 appended along-with present petition as Annexure P-1 and Annexure P-2. 2. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent- Corporation does not intend to file any response to the present petition. 3. Accordingly, the present petition is allowed. 50% of the amount of gratuity and leave encashment be released to the 1 Whether reporters of the local papers may be allowed to see the judgment? yes 2 petitioner within two weeks from today along-with statutory interest accrued thereupon. The remaining amount along-with statutory interest be paid to the petitioner within two months thereafter. Insofar as the arrears of salary + D.A. from 01.01.2016 to 31.05.2022 on account of the revision of pay scales, w.e.f., 01.01.2016, are concerned, the admissible benefits along-with statutory interest thereupon be paid to the petitioner, in accordance with law, within six months. 4. It is made clear that if the aforesaid amount is not paid within such period, the same shall carry interest @ 9% per annum from the due date of actual payment. 5.
