In the affidavit filed in support of the petition, it had been stated that the petitioners were appointed as Assistant Engineers on 13.05.1988 and were discharging their duties. They were promoted as Assistant Executive Engineers by an order dated 13.02.2024. It had been stated that any decision taken in the writ petition would directly affect the service prospects of the petitioners herein and therefore, they have to be heard by this Court. 3.
