By this Petition, the Petitioner challenges order of Respondent No.2 Committee dated 1st April, 2016, thereby invalidating the caste claim of the Petitioner. 2. Learned Advocate for the Petitioner points out caste validity certificate dated 27th January, 2010 issued to the real sister of the Petitioner, namely Mahananda Sadashiv Nageshwar. He submits that, this certificate could not be pointed out to the Committee at the time of passing of the impugned order. 3. Considering the fact that the caste claim of the real sister of the Petitioner is validated, we deem it appropriate to quash {2} wp4600-16.doc and set aside the impugned order and remand the matter back to the Competent Committee to decide the caste claim of the Petitioner afresh on its own merits, by taking into consideration the validity certificate issued to the real sister of the Petitioner. The Competent Committee shall decide the caste claim of the Petitioner within 6 months from today. 4. Till the decision by the Competent Committee, the interim relief granted in favour of the Petitioner shall continue to operate. 5. With the above directions, the Writ Petition is disposed of.
