GP FOR FINANCE PLANNING The Court made the following: ORDER: The present writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following relief: “…to issue a writ order or direction more particularly one in the nature of WRIT OF MANDAMUS declaring the action of the respondents in nonpayment of amount of Rs.7,76,215/-, after finalizing the bills payable to the petitioner after successful completion of the execution of Irrigation work i.e., Construction of Slab culvert on Surplus Course channel leading to Pedda Tank of Bapirajugudem Village of Pedavegi Mandal in Eluru District (erstwhile West Godavari District) under “Neeru-Chettu” programme duly approved by the respondents, as illegal, arbitrary, unjust, unreasonable and Violative of articles 14 and 21 of Constitution of India and consequently direct the 2 respondents to pay amounts due to the petitioner along with interest in respect of execution of said works forthwith…” 2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned Government Pleader for Irrigation appearing for the respondents. 3. Today, when the matter has come up for hearing, learned Government Pleader for Irrigation, on written instructions submits that bill No.2024-1944029 was uploaded in CFMS portal on 16.12.2024 and is awaiting for funds clearance. 4. Recording the aforesaid submission, the Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the respondents to clear the bill No. 2024- 1944029 for Rs.7,76,215/-, and release the amount, within four (4) weeks from today, with interest at 12% p.a. The interest shall be computed from the date of expiry of one month from the date of submission of the bills by the petitioners till the date of payment. No order as to costs.
