Control of Goondas Act, 1970, and order dated 30.4.2024 passed by Commissioner, Varanasi Region, Varanasi in Appeal No.99 of 2024 (Rampratap Yadav @ Munna Vs. State of U.P.) (Computer Case No.C202414000000099), under Section 6 of of U.P. Control of Goondas Act, 1970. 2. The main order has been passed under Section 3(1) of UP Control of Goondas Act, which is effective only for six months. The period of externment got over on 21.06.2024, hence, with efflux of time the matter has become infructuous. 3. Accordingly, the instant writ petition is dismissed as having become infructuous.
