The petitioner has been made accused in connection with S.T. Case No. 497/2022 arising out of Hussainabad P.S. Case No. 93/2022 corresponding to G.R. Case No. 1023/2022, for the offences registered under Sections 302 & 201 of the I.P.C. subsequently charge has been framed under Sections 302, 201 & 120B of the I.P.C., pending in the Court of learned A.S.J.-VI, Palamau. 3. On 26.03.2022, the petitioner is alleged to have stoned his wife to death, while he was going to cremate the body of the deceased, police was informed and the petitioner was apprehended. 4. It was submitted that the independent witnesses have not supported the prosecution case during trial. 5. Considering the nature of allegation and the fact that trial is at fag end of its conclusion, I am not inclined to release the petitioner, on bail.
