JUSTICE SANJIV BERRY Present:- Mr. Arjun Kapur, Advocate for the petitioner. ***** SANJIV BERRY, J.(ORAL) The instant petition under Section 528 of BNSS has been filed for issuance of necessary directions to the official respondents specifically respondent No.2 to appoint some Senior IPS Officer to conduct the investigation in the case.
2. It is, inter alia, contended by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner being the complainant of the FIR had moved the complaint dated 11.04.2025 to the competent authorities for taking appropriate legal action but no action thereon has been taken. He submits that for the purpose of the petition, the petitioner will be satisfied if appropriate directions are issued to respondent No.2- The Senior Superintendent of Police, Patiala, District Patiala, Punjab, to consider and dispose of the complaint dated 11.04.2025 (Annexure P-2) in accordance with law in an expeditious manner by giving opportunity of being heard to the petitioner as well.

After hearing the respective submissions and perusing the record, without commenting on the merits of the case and considering the limited request made by learned counsel for the petitioner, the instant petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2- The Senior Superintendent of Police, Patiala, District Patiala, Punjab, to consider and dispose of the complaint dated 11.04.2025 (Annexure P-2) in accordance with law in an expeditious manner after giving opportunity of being heard to the petitioner.
6. The decision so taken be also intimated to the petitioner as well.
