Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the State. 2. The present writ petition has been filed with the following prayers :- "I. A writ order or direction in the nature of Certiorari quashing the impugned order dated 21.11.2024 passed by respondent no. 2 whereby he suspended petitioner's fire arm licence of his N.P.B. Rifle No. AB13-01819. II. A writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent no. 3 to release the fire arm of the petitioner being N.P.B. Rifle No. AB13-01819 in petitioner's favour." 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that against the suspension of the arms license petitioner has submitted his reply. The authority may be directed to decide the issue finally. 4. Learned Standing Counsel for the respondent-State has no objection. 5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, it is hereby directed that the aforesaid revocation proceedings in respect of arms license be finally decided expeditiously, preferably within a period of one month from the date of production of a certified copy of this order. 6.
