This anticipatory bail application under Section 482 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), 2023, has been preferred by the petitioner apprehending his arrest for offences registered under Sections 15(c)/18(b)/22/25/27 of NDPS Act in connection with Bariyatu PS Case No. 27 of 2023 pending in the Court of Sessions Judge, Latehar. 3. Learned A.P.P. representing the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail. 4. The Circle Officer and others went to the Forest area and they destroyed the poppy cultivations. On inquiry it was found that this petitioner and others have cultivated the poppy over a large area of 15 acres in forest land. 5. Considering the aforesaid fact, it is not a fit case for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 6. Accordingly, this Anticipatory Bail Application stands dismissed. (ANANDA SEN, J.) Tanuj/Cp-3
