Mr. Ashish Kumar, learned advocate appears on behalf of applicant-appellant, who was husband in the marriage dissolved on judgment dated 31st January, 2025. His client felt he was aggrieved by direction for payment of permanent alimony of Rs.2 lakhs. The appeal was presented on reported delay of 85 days accompanied by application for condonation. Mr. Singh submits further, his client has been advised and thereupon gave instructions that he accepts impugned judgment. In the circumstances, he does not press the appeal. As applicant-appellant has decided to accept the judgment, we expect him to forthwith deposit the amount of permanent alimony in the Family Court.
