Petitioners, who have been arrayed as accused in case FIR No.352 dated 05.05.2018, registered against them at the instance of respondent No.2 – Dr. Rajender Kumar (complainant) for commission of offences punishable u/s 3-A, 6 (a) of Prenatal Diagnostic Techniques (Regulation and Prevention of Misuse Act), Sections 147, 149, 186, 332, 353, 379-B IPC at Police Station Assandh, District Karnal, has filed the present petition for quashing of the aforesaid FIR along with all consequential proceedings emanating therefrom.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that in terms of
order dated 04.08.2021 (Annexure P-5), accused were only summoned to face trial for the commission of offences punishable under Sections 186, 332, 353 IPC. Learned Magistrate clubbed both the FIR, as also the complaint filed by the complainant alleging violation of provisions of Pre- Conception and Pre-Natal Diagnostic Techniques Act, 1994.
3. Aggrieved of the said order, complainant filed revision petition. The same has not been adjudicated till date. However, for reasons best NISHA 2025.09.29 10:08 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

4. As of now, learned counsel limits his prayer to direct the Revision Court to decide his petition, expeditiously.

In view of the above, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to the learned Revisional Court to decide the petition, filed by the complainant (District Appropriate Authority, Karnal under (Pre-Conception and Pre-Natal Diagnostic Techniques)) expeditiously, preferrably within a period of 03 months from now.
7. Learned trial Court is also directed to adjourned the case beyond the final decision of the revision petition.
