For Petitioner : Mr.V.Nandagopalan For Respondents For R1 to 5 : Mr.R.Ganesh Kumar, Counsel for Government of Tamil Nadu (Criminal Side) ORDER This writ petition has been filed challenging the order passed by the second respondent dated 13.09.2024 thereby directing both the groups not to enter the temple and conduct any pooja under Section 164 of BNSS. 2. The counter parties i.e. respondents 6 to 8 disputed in respect of conducting poojas and other performance for the temple Sri Muthumariyamman temple for the kumbabishekam to be conducted on 15.09.2024. Therefore, there was law and order issue and as such, the matter was referred before the second respondent to conduct enquiry. Further the temple is situated at Government land and all the general public are worshiping the said deity. However, both the groups claimed right over the temple with regard to performing poojas to the temple during the festivals and kumbabishekan of the said temple. That apart, another writ petition is pending in WP.No.26783 of 2024 in this regard on the file of this Court. Now the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner as well as respondents 6 to 8 will abide by any condition imposed by the second respondent to conduct poojas and other performance for the said Sri Muthumariamman Temple situated at Hill of Eechur, Tindivanam Taluk, Villupuram District. 3. In view of the above submission, the petitioner as well as respondents 6 to 8 are directed to submit representation before the second respondent to the extent that they will abide by the conditions imposed by the second respondent while conducting poojas for regular festival for the said Sri Muthumariamman Temple.
