JUSTICE MANEESH SHARMA Order 25/02/2025 This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner with the following prayer:-
“It is therefore, humbly prayed that this Civil Writ (P.I.L.) Petition may kindly be allowed and further quash and set aside the notification dated 15.01.2018 issued by the respondent No.1 and 2 and restored the notification dated 13.04.2011
[2025:RJ-JP:8547-DB] (2 of 2) [CW-2218/2021] including name of the village as Mansa Nagar instead of Dhedhi Dhani.” We have gone through the record. In this writ petition the petitioner has challenged the notification dated 15.01.2018 whereby the respondents have withdrawn the earlier notification with regard to change the name of the village. In our considered view, no illegality has been committed by the respondent in withdrawing the earlier notification as the provision of the relevant Act provides the power to do the same in Section 16 of the Rajasthan Land Revenue Act, 2015. In that view of the matter, the petition is dismissed.
