GP FOR HOME The Court made the following: ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for: “.... a Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of respondent no.3 in not conducting proper / necessary investigation in Crime No.318 of 2020, dated 10.12.2020 registered for the offence under section 302 ipc and also ignoring to enquire and investigate the persons, whose names are submitted by the petitioner alleged to be the real offenders behind the death of petitioner’s son and to declare the same as, arbitrary, illegal, violative of code of criminal procedure, and also violative of settled principles of law and consequently direct the respondent nos.2 and 3 to conduct proper / necessary investigation in Crime No.318 of 2020, dated 10.12.2020 2 registered for the offence under section 302 ipc and also to enquire and investigate the persons, whose names are submitted by the petitioner.....” 2. Sri Ravula Nagarjuna, learned counsel for the Petitioner would submit let there be a direction to the Police to complete the investigation in the said crime and file a report. 3. Sri V.Farooq, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, on written instructions, would submit that investigation in the said crime is completed and charge sheet will be filed after receiving proceedings from the Superintendent of Police, Tirupathi Urban District as the section was altered. 4. Considering the submissions made, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the Respondents - Police to conclude the investigation in Crime No.318 of 2020 on the file of Srikalahasthi I Town Police Station, if not concluded, and file a report in accordance with law, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.
