1. The petitioner through instant petition under Articles 2226/227 of the Constitution of India is seeking direction to grant him 5 marks of socio-economic criteria.
2. The petitioner claims that no person in his family is in Government job. He pursuant to advertisement No.3/2018 dated 16.04.2018 applied for the post of Sub-Inspector (Male). He was not granted 5 marks under socio-economic criteria. This Court has decided identical matter in Civil Writ Petition No.12283 of 2022 titled as ‘Jaimeet Vs. Haryana Staff Selection Commission’ vide order dated
20.05.2024. The case of petitioner is squarely covered by aforesaid
judgment.
3. On being confronted with orders of this Court including Asgar Ali 2025.05.31 11:22 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

order dated 20.05.2024 passed in Jaimeet (supra), Ms. Rajni Gupta, Addl. AG, Haryana assures the Court that Competent Authority would consider claim of the petitioner in the light of aforesaid order. She further submits that if petitioner has not applied for socio-economic criteria, his claim would be decided in accordance with law.
4. In the wake of statement of Ms. Rajni Gupta, the present petition stand disposed of. Let the needful would be done within a period of 3 months from today.
