Through the present Writ Petition, the Petitioner seeks directions to the Respondent for the release of the detained gold, comprising one gold chain weighing 61 grams, one gold ring weighing 15 grams and two gold kadas weighing 61 grams. The aforesaid gold items were detained when the Petitioner arrived at Terminal-3 of IGI Airport, New Delhi, from Bangkok on 15.03.2024. 2. Learned Counsel appearing for the Respondent submits that an Order confiscating the aforesaid gold has already been passed on 03.02.2025. 3. It may be noted that the Petitioner has a remedy of Appeal against the Order dated 03.02.2025. 4. Accordingly, the present Writ Petition is rendered infructuous and is disposed of as such.
