The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Manatu P.S. Case No.23 of 2024 corresponding to S.T. Case No.498 of 2024, G.R. Case No.1663 of 2024 registered for the offences punishable under Section 103(1), 3(5) of the B.N.S., 2023. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the allegation against the petitioner is that the petitioner has committed murder of her husband consequent upon quarrel between them. It is next submitted that the allegation against the petitioner is false. It is then submitted that the petitioner has not been named in the FIR. It is also submitted that there is no eye-witness to the occurrence. It is further submitted that the petitioner has been implicated in this case only on the basis of her confessional statement leading to recovery of the weapon of offence being an axe. It is submitted that the petitioner is an old lady aged 70 years. It is also submitted that so far, no witness has been examined in this case. It is then submitted that charge has been framed on 16.12.2024. It is next submitted that the petitioner has been in custody since 23.07.2024 as is evident from para-13 of the instant bail application. It is further submitted that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent as mentioned in para-11 of the instant bail application. It is submitted that the petitioner undertakes to co-operate with the trial of the case. It is lastly submitted that the petitioner also undertakes not to annoy or disturb the informant or witness of the case in any manner during the trial of the case. Hence, it is submitted that the petitioner be released on bail. Learned Addl.P.P. appearing for the State opposes the prayer for bail of the petitioner. Considering the facts of this case, the above-named petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees twenty five thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge-VIII, Palamu in connection with Manatu P.S. Case No.23 of 2024 corresponding to S.T. Case No.498 of 2024, G.R. Case No.1663 of 2024 with the condition that she will co- operate with the trial of the case and furnish her mobile number and photocopy of the Aadhar Card in the court below with an undertaking that she will not change her mobile number during the trial of the case and she will not annoy or disturb the informant or witness of the case in any manner during the trial of the case.
