Ahmed, learned counsel for the petitioners. 2. The grievance of the petitioners is that they have filed an application before the District Commissioner, Kamrup (M), Guwahati on 02.04.2024, praying for a proper demarcation and possession in respect of Dag No.221 and Patta No.73 of village Gog, Mouza Azara, in the district of Kamrup (M), Assam, Page No.# 3/3 however, such application has not yet been attended till date. According to the petitioners, they have also filed an application before the Circle Officer, Azara Revenue Circle on 19.04.2024. 3. At this stage, Mr. H Sarma learned State counsel submits that in view of the enactment of the Assam Right to Public Services Act, 2012, the Circle Officer is a designated public servant for considering an application for demarcation and a procedure has been prescribed for filing of such application ie., by online mode in Sewa setu in a form prescribed and such demarcation application is to be disposed of within a period of 30 days. 4. In view of the aforesaid, the learned counsel for the petitioners submits that they may be allowed to withdraw this writ petition with a liberty to file appropriate application before the Circle officer in terms of the Assam Right to Public Services Act, 2012 and the rules framed there under. 5. Prayer is allowed. 6. The writ petition stands closed with a liberty as prayed for. JUDGE Comparing Assistant
