CRM-22800-2025 The instant application has been filed for condonation of delay of 409 days in filing the accompanying criminal revision petition. For the reasons mentioned therein, the application is allowed. Delay of 409 days in filing the accompanying criminal revision petition is hereby condoned. Main case: The present revision petition has been filed against the
judgment/order dated 21.08.2019 passed by Judicial Magistrate 1st Class, Amritsar whereby the petitioner has been convicted/sentenced in case bearing No. NACT/1030 of 2016 under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881, to undergo RI for a period of 6 months and to pay the compensation to the complainant to the tune of cheque amount i.e. Rs.1,00,000/- in default thereof, to further undergo RI for a period of 01 MANGAL SINGH 2025.09.25 19:59 I am the author of this document

month and the judgment/order dated 04.01.2024 passed by Additional Sessions Judge, Amritsar, whereby the appeal preferred by the petitioner against the judgment/order dated 21.08.2019, has been dismissed. Learned State counsel submits that vide order dated 29.05.2025, the petitioner stands released having undergone the entire sentence. There is no representation on behalf of the petitioner(s) as well as respondent No.2. Be that as it may, since the entire sentence has already been undergone by the petitioner and he stands released and counsel for the petitioner himself has not been appearing, it seems that the petitioner is no more interested in pursuing the present petition. The criminal revision petition is accordingly dismissed at this stage as having been rendered infructuous. All pending civil misc. application(s), if any, stand disposed of.
