By the present writ petition, the petitioner is questioning the communication dated 23.12.2024 issued by the Centre Incharge Paddy Procurement, by which the respondent no. 8 has refused to accept the paddy of the petitioner. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner along with the co-owners of the land bearing Khasra nos. 397, 478, 724, 392, 400, 25, 431, 264 situated at Bijemal, Tahsil Pithora, District Mahasamund, (C.G.). The petitioners and the other co- owners of the land have been registered under the Unified Farmer Portal (UFP) having Farmer Code No. TF5800530100664, for the year 2023 registered on 30.09.2023. The respondent no. 9 which is one of the co-owners of the petitioner’s family has lodged an objection before the respondent authority towards the acceptance of paddy. On the mere objection of the respondent no. 9, who is the co-owners of the land, the entire paddy owned by the petitioner and the co-owner is not being accepted by the respondent no. 7 & 8. 3 3. Learned State counsel would submit that the respondent no. 7, the Nodal OfÏcer, Paddy Procurement Centre, Bijemal, Tahsil Pithora will verify the objection raised by the respondent no. 9 by providing opportunity of hearing to respondent no. 9 and the claim of the petitioner as well as respondent no. 9 will be redressed in accordance with law. 4. I have heard both the parties and perused the communication dated 23.12.2024 and the registration of the petitioner’s land (Annexure P/2), by which the petitioner’s land has been registered under the Unified Farmer Portal. Mere objection of respondent no. 9, the paddy of the petitioner’s are not being accepted by the respondent no. 8, hence, it is directed that the petitioner as well as respondent no. 9 be present before the Nodal OfÏcer, Paddy Procurement Centre, Bijemal, Tahsil Pithora, within a period of 7 days and the Nodal OfÏcer/respondent no. 7 shall consider the grievance of the parties by affording opportunity of hearing to respondent no. 9 and take a decision immediately within a period of further 10 days regarding the acceptance of paddy which is owned by the petitioner and the co-owners of the land. 5.
