Written statement on behalf of respondents No.2 and 3 has been filed in the Court today. A copy thereof has been supplied to the counsel for the petitioner. At the time of filing of the writ petition, the petitioner had given specific reference and details with respect to the similar cases i.e. CWP No.21594 of 2020 titled as ‘Harbans Lal Verma Vs. Union of India and others’ decided on 03.08.2023 as well as CWP No.31321 of 2019 titled as ‘Gurcharan Singh Sidhu Vs. Union of India and others’ decided on 23.03.2021, in the Index of the writ. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of both the parties are ad idem that the aforesaid writ petitions, whose reference had been given in the index of the present writ petition have already been decided and agree that the present writ petition may also be disposed of in terms of order dated 23.03.2021 passed in CWP No.31321 of 2019 titled as ‘Gurcharan Singh Sidhu Vs.
