IN THE HIGH COURT OF PUNJAB AND HARYANA AT CHANDIGARH 131 CR-3451-2025 (O&M) Date of Decision: 29.05.2025 AVTAR SINGH AND ANOTHER ... Petitioners V/S GRAM PANCHAYAT KANSUHA KHURD .... Respondent CORAM: HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE SUVIR SEHGAL Present: Mr. Gurmanpreet Singh, Advocate for the petitioners. *** SUVIR SEHGAL, J. (ORAL)
1. Instant petition has been filed for setting aside order dated 21.05.2025, Annexure P-6, passed by the leaned Additional District Judge, Patiala, on an appeal preferred by respondent No.1/defendant.
2. During the course of arguments, counsel for the petitioners could not dispute that by virtue of the impugned order operation of orders dated 12.05.2025 and 19.05.2025 passed by the trial Court has been stayed till the next date of hearing and lower Court record has been requisitioned for 18.07.2025.
3. First appeal before the learned Additional District Judge, Patiala is pending and is under consideration. This Court, therefore, does not deem it necessary to go into the merits of the instant revision petition.
4. Noticing that the interim ex parte stay granted in favour of the petitioners/plaintiffs has been stayed, learned Additional District Judge, Patiala is requested to expedite the hearing of the appeal and to finally decide it within a period of three months from the date of communication of a copy of this order.
5. Petition is disposed of. 29.05.2025
