By means of the present criminal writ petition, petitioners have put to challenge the impugned FIR No.290 of 2022 dated 01.05.2022, for the offence punishable under Sections 147, 148, 149, 452, 504, 324 and 395 IPC, registered with P.S. Gangnahar, District Haridwar. 5. It is submitted by the learned State Counsel on instruction that after investigation, petitioner No.2-Harshit Sharma, petitioner No.3-Km. Frooti Sharma and petitioner No.4-Rohit Sharma, have been exonerated of the charges, while petitioner No.1-Ram Kumar Sharma and petitioner No.5-Smt. Preeti Sharma, have been chargesheeted by the police on 10.08.2022, therefore, nothing remains to be decided in this writ petition and it has become infructuous. The instruction passed on by learned State Counsel to this Court is taken on record. 6. In view of the statement made by 2025:UHC:4622 learned State Counsel, the present criminal writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. However, it is open to chargesheeted petitioners to challenge the charge-sheet in appropriate proceedings, before the appropriate forum. 7. Interim order dated 25.05.2022 stands vacated. 8.
