Mr. Himanshu Joshi, learned counsel holding brief of Mr. Prashant Khanna, learned counsel for the petitioner. 2. Mr. Sushil Vashistha, learned Standing Counsel for the State of Uttarakhand/1 to 5. 3. Petitioner was appointed as Lecturer in Government Intermediate College, and he retired from the post of Principal, Government Inter College, Hinsariyakhal District Tehri Garhwal on 31.03.2025. According to him, he was entitled for two annual increments in a pay-scale, but the said benefit was denied to him. He further submits that a sum of Rupees Two Lakh, has been withheld from his gratuity and has not been released even after ten years of his retirement. 4. Annexure no.12 to the writ petition is the representation made by the petitioner on 03.03.2017. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that no decision has been taken on the said representation. 5. Having regard to the facts of the case, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the Director School Education, Uttarakhand Dehradun, to take decision on petitioner’s representation, by passing a reasoned order, within a period of three weeks from the date of production of a certified copy of this order.
